Kimi on podium !!!!

I bet no one had expected Kimi on the podium after the last pitstop, but Hamilton... Dude, what were you thinking ?! Everyone's saying, he's a real fighter, keeps pushing t'ill the last lap, but dude, the final lap you crashed mate. People are forgetting, he's a world champion. He's losing that title this year, but has he not matured over the last years ? It's the last lap, you're sure of a podium finish, scoring points for the team and all of a sudden you think, push it. You crashed bro! Lost concentration and crashed. He looked dissapointed and he should be ! He knew he could never overtake Button anymore and he was well ahead Kimi, he should have just taken it calmly and he would've scored some points. Oh well, that's racing I guess. I can understand his thinking though, never give up. Good mentality but yeah... you can't win them all. Anyways Kimi moved up to the podium and we got to see him dodge every question being asked in the press conference. Has anyone noticed that he keeps playing with the mic while his talking, it's hilarious !

Anyways, 1 2 for Brawn, they'll be happy to end their bad streak. Unlucky for Button, but I don't care. I want Rubinho to win all the way. Button just doesn't look like winner material. I don't know why. I just don't want him to win. Ow yeah, Fisichella ended 9th, just outside of the points; but MAJOR effort! Luca Badoer, that's more then you got to show. Another unlucky person was Liuzi. Great first F1 after 1,5 years, was sure of a top-8 finish, but all of a sudden the transmission caved in. Very unlucky. I think we'll be seeing a lot more from the chap in the following years. Same for Adrian Sutil. I really like the guy, calm, collected and modest. I would like to see him drive for Ferrari in a couple years. Hope it just doesn't go to his head. If he stays, both feet on the ground... good guy. Vettel and Webber ruined their chances to win the championship, so for the final races it's between : Barrichello and Button. Aching to see how this unfolds. Next race: Singapore (Night) 27 September.

Bad News & Good News

Ok, bad news first. Remember how I started playing Texas Hold'Em again on FB and I had set a goal to reach 500k by next week. Well bad news, I lost a sh*tload of cash yesterday. I'm down to 21,184 chips. Bummer eh! But to get to that target, I've decided to change strategy: Play in 100/200 blind rooms, no limit, with buy-in of 2,000; and try and play on surefire hands. Think about it :

5 players in 1 room, go 2,000 all-in: 5*2,000 = 10,000 or 8,000 profit in 1 hand. Meaning I can play 4 hands all in, lose them, win 1 and still be breakeven. It's slow, but you know what they say:
"Slow and Steady wins the race". Also once I reach 100k, I can start thinking again about playing in rooms with 500/1k blinds (or maybe 200/400). Next update about this, tomorrow.

Then, the good news. F1 today :) 14.00 @ Monza. Can't wait. Let's all take a minute of silence and hope and pray, nothing bad happens to a ferrari in that first corner. I'm sure crashes will be inevitable, but please NO FERRARI !!

Anyways, watch it or squash it! (I just came up with that, don't know why, don't care really; just do it)

F1 Qualifying

Racestart-lineup is in and posted below. Interesting qualifying. 2 force india's in Q3 was a big surprise! Great drive by Sutil. Hamilton just grabbed the pole from him in the last couple of seconds. DAMN! Oh well, we'll see what happens during the race. Raikkonen was not looking that fast in Q1 and Q2, but managed to position up 3rd, clean side of the track. Both Kimi and Lewis have KERS, so I think the first lap will be LEGEN ... wait for it ... DARY ! (Yeah, I know, I've seen too much "How I Met Your Mother") Anyways, really looking forward to the race tomorrow, let's hope Mr. Fisichella gets up in the top 8; his qualifying was better than Badoer, so that's a relief. Here's tomorrow's line-up:

1. Hamilton (Mclaren)
2. Sutil (Force India)
3. Raikkonen (Ferrari)
4. Kovalainen (Mclaren)
5. Barrichello (Brawn GP)
